Ah, high school prom. I remember the stretch limos and shiny shoes fondly. It’s always an exciting time and who doesn’t love getting dressed up from time to time? We went to Cedarock Park on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The scenery was the perfect backdrop for the wonderful dresses and snazzy suits. I thought everyone looked great and remained in high spirits despite all the onlookers and paparazzi. Thanks you parents for letting me capture this special day! The JC Raulston arboretum at NC State is one of the largest collections of worldly and seasonal plants in the US. It really is relaxing to walk through and see the variety. It was a perfect day for a photo shoot. Most of the spring flowers had bloomed and the temperature made it even more pleasant. Temple, Keith, and their daughter Meredith enjoyed walking around the grounds for the first time. Meredith was definitely the star! She did not want to stay in one place for long. There was a lot to explore!

It was a gorgeous day at Elon University. When I arrived, many fraternities were marching about the campus, shouting all kinds of vulgarities and wearing ridiculous outfits. I was a little worried about how the noise would affect the shoot, but luckily they cleared out before the girls arrived. What a sweet bunch they were! The ribbons were a great idea. The clouds began to roll in as we were shooting but we had plenty of daylight for a little fun around the dorms and courtyard. We finished with some coffee and snacks. Thanks Jessica and Tom! I had fun, I hope you and the girls did too!
